NexCura has the unique ability to reach individual patients within days of becoming trial-eligible. This could occur immediately after diagnosis when they first register to use a Profiler tool, or after a change in clinical parameters makes them a trial candidate. NexCura's clinical specialists use a well-defined process to secure qualified and appropriate candidates for your trial.

Using the inclusion/exclusion criteria and other parameters you supply, NexCura queries the database for potential candidates and contacts them via e-mail. This e-mail message includes directions for contacting the clinical specialist, via return e-mail or a toll-free number. The NexCura clinical specialists prescreen and pre-qualify candidates on your behalf, based on your criteria and any other screening questions you furnish. They also answer questions about the trial, based on the IRB-approved information you supply. NexCura clinical specialists confirm patient eligibility and acquire consent. Only then will they refer the patient to the trial site for an interview, which they arrange by both making the appointment and communicating the date and time to the patient. This promotes compliance, and saves time and resources.

NexCura tracks non-respondents and sends appropriate follow-up e-mail messages, in an effort to ensure that all potential candidates are reached. In addition, it conducts weekly database queries and sends e-mails to new candidates. A monthly report includes the number of patients screened, patients matched and referred, and also flags any site issues that have been identified.
